In one of the big strikes in the past couple years (Kellogs maybe idr), the union let the company shit on it's employees for over a year before finally doing anything at all. The union finally got off it's last ass and did it's job, but in the meantime it outright stole these people's dues. Fuck that noise. Workers need unions because the alternative is horrific, but unions have to actually do their part. Most unions seem to be able to handle it. Make them all accountable --- I don't believe in belts. parisdolphin 06/03/24 2:09:41 PM #47:	I've had bad experiences with them personally. I've worked 2 union jobs. I felt the 1st one existed for no reason other than to take our money every month. The company could make you work 12 hours a day and even 16 hours in some cases. The 2nd was a bit better as they had restrictions on how much they could make us work.
