But at least their tankjob and team management is better than the shitshow going on at the south side of Chicago and the White Sox. Worst record in the MLB and have lost 11 straight. To add more to the mess, they play in the AL Central. That division is probably the weakest in all of MLB.

Oakland isn't spending money, which is actually great for them. If you're going to be a trash team like them, at least do it cheaply.

The White sox are currently paying Andrew Benintendi 17 million this year, the biggest contract in team history, and he currently has -2.3 WAR and is worse in some ways(On base percentage, slg, ops) right now than that one awful Chris Davis season in 2018. Davis had -3.3 war in 28 games. Benintendi is one point behind through 51 games.
