... for the first time I'm hearing he might have been bisexual:

under Sexuality in Personal Life:
In 2019, social media users shared an excerpt from the 2018 biography The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers, which recounts Rogers telling openly gay friend Dr. William Hirsch that he "must be right smack in the middle" of a one-to-ten sexuality scale, because "I have found women attractive, and I have found men attractive."[108][110] This led some social media users to suggest that Rogers may have been bisexual,[108][110] although Long noted in his essay that there is no evidence that Rogers ever had sexual relations with men.

idk why the not having sexual relations with men thing is necessary, because the under Personal Life, it also goes on about how he met his wife in college and was faithful to her throughout their marriage.

anyway, I just thought it was a little interesting, like how he eventually became a vegetarian, saying something like, he couldn't eat anything that has a mother.

Well, that would leave the hypothetical of him experimenting in high school. Not that it would change anything.

Interesting bit of trivia.

Stands to reason a direct empathy with such a thing would bolster his already magnanimous character.

Hmm, seems to come from a 2015 book written by a friend of his, I'll take it as a truth. The Wiki also says that Clemmons, the mailman, made a comment about how he couldn't detect a single gay vibe from him.

If I have to side with one or the other, I'll side with the one that enhances LGBTQ acceptance from a beloved American figure (which would actually happen in either case based of how he treated Clemmons, but you get my intent).
