Got a colonoscopy on Monday.
Not looking forward to fasting all day. At least, I just have to do Miralax and not that nasty liquid. I'm a baby when it comes to that stuff. I have a feeling the 4 Dulcolax will be worse than drinking a bottle of Miralax over about 12 hours

Just had my first colonoscopy this morning, started prepping two nights ago with the dulcolax. If you're anything like me the first cleaning out is the worst, and by the time you get to the miralax phase it'll be pure liquid, and just an annoyance rather than painful.

And be as gentle as possible with your wiping, because you're gonna be doing it a lot.

Kinda figured. It's been years since I've had Dulcolex, but one made me cram up. 4 sounds like its gonna suck.

Wasn't too bad. I was expecting it to be worse, since when I took Dulcolex in the past, I was constipated. I didn't really have cramping. We will see first half of my Miryalax goes.

Fasting sucks. It's not even 1, and I'm starving. Got some broth I will drink this evening for a few calories.

One thing I will say, either frequent showers, or invest in flushable wipes, because plain TP is gonna get Raw after the first 3-4 times

I already have wipes. People have said the Dulcolex is the worst part, so I'm not too worried about the Miralax.

I did one in my teens or early 20s, and have another one scheduled July 18th. Its not fun and Im not looking forward to it.

Half a bottle of miralax down. How long before it stats?

I have wipes and there's nothing really solid left. I think I should be okay.

Hour and half until my appointment. Can't wait to get this over with and eat. I can feel my brain not functioning properly. Trying to read posts, I can feel that I'm not really absorbing it.

Just in the waiting room. I don't know if I'm getting propofol. Reading some stuff, it says I will just be sedated and that I will be sleepy and less aware.
