im thinking there was a fake running around

they are identical so if a shape shifter took the form they could easily play both

There was definitely disconnect between "evil Mae rubs her hands evil-y while trying to murder her sister" and "Mae is on the bridge scared for her life and confused about what's happening"

I don't think it's a shape shifter, I think she was mind controlled

I enjoyed the episode. Wasn't the best, but it definitely left a good mystery. It's obvious Mae didn't just wipe out an entire coven of witches.

Mother Koril is definitely a suspect. She was pissed as fuck and we didn't see her body. I could see what Mae said to Osha be something Koril would say. I doubt it's the bad guy from the first two episodes or the Sith.

The Jedi are the biggest suspects with Sol at the top. If you notice, Torbin's eye is already fucked up when they bring Osha to the ship. Something happened and I think Sol was the guy who gave the orders. The others didn't want to follow, but he convinced them, hence why Torbin kills himself over the guilt.

This I'll agree on, but I'll hold off on speculation.

Mother Koril could be Mae's "master" in the current day timeline

i doubt its koril or any of the witches

kinda defeats the moral message being set up if its any of them

I love this show. Watching Jedi Masters rely heavily on defensive and disarming techniques, which looking back was rather lacking in the Prequel Trilogy. The interactions between Master/Knight/Padawan are very fun. In PT felt like we were watching a dysfunctional family with Obiwan/Anakin so here I'm getting a sense of how the Jedi typically operated. There's another splinter group from the witches who I find fresh and interesting. More lore into the force baby process.

we have stuff like "this is jedi business" used as a catch all term for them doing wtv they want

we have quigon trying to use the force on watto to accept credits a form of currency he cant do anything with

the jedi are a secret police force that answer to no one

I am fascinated by how low-tech the designs of their lightsabers appear to be. PT, all the Jedi had polished chrome and electrum. These guys look like they got some random steel pipes and slapped on a couple of buttons.

I personally think the Master is either Qimir or Vernestra. Both very shady.

The Master is probably another apprentice of Tenebrous, who was the master of Plagueis. I think they're going for a Palpatine/Dooku/Ventress parallel.

Did the not train kids over a certain age rule not exist back in the High Republic time? Or maybe this is setup to why it existed?

i was thinking the master in ep 1 was Darth Plagueis. After the having babies using the force thing in Ep3, Im fairly sure of it.

I dont get why star wars is at such a lower quality even visually compared to its competition

About 3 episodes in each, shogun, fallout, the boys s4 all outclass it so hard in pretty much every way

Osha's master having to beg wasn't due to Osha's age it was due to Osha surviving a slaughter and being traumatized. The Jedi have made it clear that they don't want to take in children with baggage as anger and resentment born from trauma will lead to the dark side.

Ep3 made it clear that the Jedi were going to take the twins. What changed was that a slaughter happened and Osha saw the corpses of her family as well as the "death" of her twin.

I still find it weird that even with Star Wars deep quantity of content, that generic Star wars intro with the helmets is what they came up with. Compare that to what every Marvel project gets. Even if the project doesnt deliver, the intro always gets you hyped

with that said, its far from the worse thing i've ever seen so all the review bombers out there on iMDB and such need to take a chill pill.

the idea of a wookie jedi made me lol tho. wondering if there's gonna be an ewok jedi next. that would be cool actually! >_>

Just walking along on patrol, nothing out of the ordinary. Suddenly you hear "YEECHA!" and lightsaber noises. You run, but you end up laying there with the embarrassment that you were felled by giant teddy bear. How will you face your elders in the afterlife with that embarrassment.
