Sepulcher runs a bit shitty on my pc as well. Did you pay for instance? Might help, not sure. Its been that way since it released, mainly lower floors with more going on seems to be the issue.

The private instances don't seem to help with performance tbh. It does help to keep floors consistent though with no one else starting the traps before you enter the floor.

I do have low detail plugin set with lower planes hidden for mildly better performance on the lower floors. it'd still chug if i zoom out all the way though. I wonder if a stronger cpu would prevent this.

The lag im talking about is more so my internet connection though. at times ill get some delayed actions and small freezes no matter which floor that last a split second. I definitely perform better late at night (like past 1 am) when the connection is more stable.

Yeah, understood and I can relate. My internet is at least solid right now with some upgraded equipment but there are multiple issues to getting good times and reliable gameplay for the sepulcher.

I decided to take a break from Questing to get into the Hallowed Sepulchre. Got 92 Agility after a lot of Ardy roofs. I haven't had any issues with lag. Use a VPN with a generally stable <100 ms connection.

Anyway, place definitely has a learning curve. Still not sure of the best way to tackle some of the challenges. Two stand out...

  1. The big long flame wall on the North side of the 4th floor (there is a green tile from the tile markers plugin which says fast, but I don't know how to it use...). Only way I consistently get through it is to wait until both walls spit out flames and then can work my way forward. Feels like a big time loss if I end up waiting.
  2. As for difficulty though...the hardest challenge is definitely the last gauntlet of traps on the 5th floor. Just so much going on and mistakes cost you 0.5-1 minutes it feels like.

Honorable Mention to any places you have to use Blue Tiles to outrun a flying sword. They seem to like to disappear on me a lot just before I get to them.

Despite that, I've made good progress in two days. Finally after many failed attempts (and no Hallowed tokens used) I have managed to get to the Grand Hallowed Coffin.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/c/cd00ffe1.jpg

The exp/hr rate I am achieving right now is ~50-55k/hr, which is just below Ardy at reasonable efficiency. If I can reduce running into traps, probably can push this rate higher though. Planning to watch some videos on how to speed up some of the challenges.

Oo nice^! Hitting the grand coffin on time took me hours and several trips initially. At one point I was at the last obstacle for like 2 hours lmao. My hp was almost depleted. I was chatting with someone through pm tho so wasn't 100% focused.

I used He Box Jong's guide. It's around 40 mins long. I did not watch the entire thing just watched the parts I had trouble with

Top 10 current for agility on templeosrs in all categories atm. Though these are no way close to the actual records because of brimhaven tickets stockpiled for massive gains (not sure if they still work).

I've seen Ne Cro around sepulchre at like 3 am my time. Night owl he is. I dont think i could even reach 20m xp a month in this skill but 18m is possible if i stick with 600k days (the 800k in daily is kind of wrong but prob same w/ those other accounts) .

Oh and most of those other top current players are training other skills too im just doing agility 95% of the time lol. Idk how they do it. My ehp is only half of theirs.

Where can i read these blog posts by jagex? not seeing it on the front page.

also i did check ehp rates on temple. I found out the reason why my ehp dropped over the years.

Drift net fishing to 200m hunter now seems to be the efficient route (used to be barb fishing) for fishing since it gives 200m hunter + like 30m fishing xp. Lost like 700 ehp from that change. That said main ehp lowered from around 16k ehp down to 11k ehp (for 200m xp in all skills). Damn.

level 3 Skillers 1 ehp for agility post 99 is through swimming which is 62k xp in agility an hour and some xp in thieving. For mains agility ehp is actually 96k not 106k.

Thanks. I learned a lot from the video. Biggest stumbling block remains the last part of the last trap sequence on the third floor though. The guy in the video takes it so fast. Maybe just a matter of practice.

Also, probably need to work toward getting a private instance. Would make thing significantly more consistent.

yeah he is nearly constantly moving. im doing a lot stops for a few seconds to ensure my bearings lol.

well i got my personal best down to 6:22 now though this is without looting anything and i got pretty lucky with some blue portals spawning right next to me. sub 6 still seems so far away. i definitely can improve my movement mechanics still when it comes to the arrow segments

In a lot of cases if the related content already has a recent blog they will add an edit to that blog as opposed to adding a new blog entirely. The claws one is part of the edit added to the While Guthix Sleeps blog.

Oo I did secrets of the north a few weeks ago. The boss is pretty scary compared to older quest bosses.

I killed it using range the entire time with a dragon crossbow equipped with sapphire bolts (e) and diamond bolts (e). I only used the sapphire (e) when the boss was in its prayer phase. It depletes that phase pretty fast. Though this was before it got nerfed against muspah (2nd row):

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/1e9bec2d.jpg

The secret of the north's boss is a weaker version of Muspah so im assuming this hot fix affects it as well. Might still be useful idk.

officially 1/4 of the way to 200m agility damn thinking about how much longer it will take is daunting.

looking at some older skiller records and i see people have done close to 30m xp months back before rooftops n sepulcre came out. im assuming they did werewolf/brimhaven course (I think werewolf was faster xp between the two) which seems like a pain in the ass to do for that long lol

Seemed like a pretty harmless high clicking but low xp method. I wonder if some were using mouse recorders for it lol.

Well I decided to start Desert Treasure II, the last quest before the Quest Cape. I will have to travel for a few days, so not planning to fully complete it in the next few days, but I knocked out a chunk of it today, specifically the Zeah portion with Vardorvis and Kasonde.

Vardorvis...well, he was really hard. Having to watch for the axes, roots, and ranged special which knocks off your protection prayer is a lot to take in. Not sure I ever truly learned properly how to dodge the axes, but staying toward the side of the arena lets you dodge them...some of the time? Otherwise, you have to move 2 diagonal tiles away to the correct tile to avoid them. Problem was, nerves got in the way, and more often then not I would move to the wrong diagonal tile and get hit anyway...lol! Bleed damage is also no fun. Also the reaction time to avoid the ranged special attack is just...I don't have it most of the time, particularly when dealing with everything else going on. At least he isn't hard to hit after being hit with 2 Bandos Godsword Specials.

Anyway, Vardorvis becomes "berserk" at 1/3 of his HP and speeds up his special attacks. Had issues even getting him to that point. Decided to start bringing Thralls because I needed more damage than my Abyssal Whip was capable of dealing. Also switched from combo eating from Sharks + Cooked Karambwan to Moonlight Antelope + Cooked Karambwan because I needed more healing.

Funny thing, I brought an emergency teleport, but most of the time I died quick enough I didn't get the chance to use it. Luckily the gravestone fees are very generous (~20-30k). Having to get all the way back to Vardorvis's arena to get items was a pain though...

After failing (mostly dying) 4-5 times, I felt like I got a lucky fight where the axes rarely came my way it I stayed toward the side...and the roots never seemed like too much of a problem. Couldn't do anything about the Ranged Special almost all of the time, but it by itself wasn't too bad. My improved combo eating method helped to stave off most of the damage from that. Still, was a hell of a fight. Won with no food left and with 7 HP.

Good news is that he is "apparently" the hardest of the 4 DT2 main bosses according to some people on reddit. Only fight harder is the final fight at the end of the quest. If true, the quest feels doable for now.
______________________________________________

Kasonde is much easier, but is more annoying then difficult. He threw poison potions and "turn-off-prayer" potions all over the room room. He isn't too bad, more annoying than hard, particularly if you don't stop moving during the fight to avoid eating throw attacks (hope you brought a Stamina Potion!). Crossbow is preferred to a Blowpipe because of this. I used Enchanted Diamond Dragon Bolts for the guaranteed hit chance. The stupid thing about him though is that when he gets to really low HP, he starts to heal a ton of HP back, enough so that it is difficult to inflict enough damage to defeat him. Feels like RNG at the end. He ended up killing my once while I was trying to overcome this "health barrier" and accidentally ran into a bunch of poison. Decided to bring Thralls again for extra DPS, and it made enough of a difference that I got him the 2nd time though.

Story around Kasonde is also really well written. Spoilers so you can experience it yourself. Dude is sick with a terminal disease (Koreps Syndrome is what it was called), gets what he apparently needs to go back Zeah to get to the equipment he needs to heal himself. Problem is, he is infected with the Strangler "infection", which only you the player character got a 100% vaccine against. Said infection killed...or better put, zombified a whole division of Zaros military soldiers and an elite Vampyre warrior (Vardorvis). So the player character flat out refuses to let him infect a whole continent with this...accidental bioweapon created by whoever the "Old Ones" are. So you fight Kasonde and have to kill him to prevent him from infecting a whole continent to try to save himself. What a sad end for the guy...

Went back to the Vault to deposit the Medallion and met the Mysterious Figure. Heard she will be a problem for the rest of the quest. Will see what that is like later.

Finally got full black graceful (including the cape)! Only been looting the grand coffin so this took 253 opens to get all the hallowed marks for the 6 dyes + the hallowed ring. Also spent around 5-10 hallowed marks on crystal teleports to sepulchre because I dislike having to run there from the medallion teleport.

Some new personal best times:

Floor 3 is definitely sapping away a lot of time for me. I tend to average 1 min 5 seconds on that floor. Not sure how i managed 51 seconds that one time. im sure if i didnt mess up a few of the floor 4 and 5 obstacles after that floor 3 pb it could have been a sub 6 minute run. I have the habit of playing sloppy from excitement after a new PB tbh lol.

Damn I wasn't aware of the Moonlight Antelope. It heals 26 hitpoints

Congrats on beating those two bosses! I'll probably level up my my range a bit more before I do desert treasure 2. I also did recently buy rigour after selling the endurance ring so that should help a bit with Kasonde .

You're officially better than me now lol.

I think much improvement beyond that generally requires the use of alts to fix the timing on some obstacles just right. It's some real galaxy-brain level shit. Also you need to be lucky enough to roll the quicker paths on floors 1-4.

Anyway, I let my membership lapse for now while real life punches me in the face repeatedly.

Damn well tbf my average times are so inconsistent. Sometimes not going under sub 7. though I do blame my internet crapping out at times for maybe 20% of that. Other 80% of times it's because I take too many risks trying to get improved pb

Yeah I think it's possible to get like maybe a few seconds below 6 mins without alts and some good luck. But closer to the world record which is around 5 mins 30 seconds requires alts for sure.

Ahh I hope you well in your irl situations. I pretty much holed myself up right now. I actually don't know if ill 200m this skill at my current pace 100% of the way. I have to find work soon again myself. Just been slacking

I thought Leviathan was the hardest boss from the quest. The rapid prayer swaps even with the shadow spell reset and back strike became relatively hard. The rock special tended to annoy me even though you really just walk it out. You have to make sure you run to the light in the last phase rather than avoid it or else you will die. If you can kill quickly in the last phase, it will be easier.

Dream mentor was a fun quest imo. I still have to do A Tail of Two Cats apparently for DS2.

Lately I've just been training agility/farming. also started doing some 3 tick granite for a bit of xp a day too (like half an hour of it is around 50k xp). cant do this method for long.

i just found out yesterday about that 1.5 tick teak method on the fossil island patch. seen someone do this recently but i didn't realize how damn annoying that'd look on the player doing it. i don't recall this method being a thing when I played a few years ago. not likely something ill do anyways since there are alternatives that arent much slower.

a few runs before this i could have gotten a sub 6 but messed up floor 5 a bunch of times because of the cycle being different from what im used to

i think it's possible to get down to like 5:50. For floor 2 and 3 i was about a second off from my pb. Floor 4 I was about 8 seconds off from my pb. I definitely played more cautious on floor 4 after i got 52 seconds on floor 3 (which is rare for me). Lost about 3 seconds on floor 5 as well from my pb. That said im done chasing pb now and try to go consistent sub 7s for the xp rates. I keep tanking my xp taking risks to try to improve my times lol.

F2p world 1 seems like a fun place train firemaking around the willows/ge area lol.Though it sucks that f2p worlds got halved to 1k players max per world. I know it used to be way more busy in the popular areas. Probably the closest to what the rs community was like back in 2007

Yesterday I did an elite clue that had me kill the KBD. A lot smaller than I imagined tbh. It wasn't much larger than regular dragons. I'm pretty sure ive gone to its lair back in rs2 and it seemed bigger back then lol.

Anyway I got a master clue from the elite casket and I just finished that today. Didnt get any collection log item from the previous elite nor the master. Total reward was around 200k gp worth of items for both.

it did have me do the shades of morton quest since i needed to fight a Fiyre Shade in the catacombs. ive never done the shades minigame that was introduced in the quest and was surprised to see a lot of people and bots participating on world 377. I assume all the ironmen (they had the fe/gim/iron usernames) are legitimate people ofc. Might make world 377 my home world now. I was legitimately surprised to see a lot of players running around while I was doing the clue steps.

I did another elite clue after I finished the masters (got it from sepulchre). Its casket gave me a War Blessing as a new collection log item. Only annoying part of this clue was having to travel to the daggnoth kings ladder entrance. Had to watch a video to help me navigate through the cave and i almost died in the area with the three or four different mobs attacking with three different combat styles. I just wore blessed d hide.

Oh and I almost died to the wizard trio from the master clue. The melee wizard was hitting 35s on me frequently. I wore mixed hide with a dfs and just prayed mage. Luckily I know how to double eat now lol.

Dang. Nice times on Sepulchre Ratchetrockon! I haven't pulled in a sub-7 minute time yet, so that's very impressive. Granted, I've been trying to loot the entire Floor 5 every time, so maybe I should give that a rest at least to see how my times compare to yours.

As for me, I have gotten back from my trip and got right back to working on Desert Treasure 2. Fought the second of the Forgotten Four, The Leviathan. Honestly, he isn't that bad. I used a Dragon Hunter Crossbow with Enchanted Diamond Dragon Bolts and focused for the first 80% of the fight on swapping prayers between magic/ranging (he is similar to Jad) while occasionally throwing a shadow spell at him followed by hitting him in the back to reset his attack speed, as it gets unbelievably fast if you don't. If you can do that, you have the first 80% of the fight whipped. Oh yeah, move a few tiles after every "cycle" of projectiles to avoid getting hit with a boulder and deal with the special attacks appropriately, neither of which are hard to deal with.

Only hard part is the last 20% of the fight where the boss becomes enraged. You have to keep up with the Abyssal pathfinder that moves around the arena while focusing on prayer switching. Eat whenever you need to and attack Leviathan when you can afford to to bring the fight to a close, as he doesn't have much health left. Think I died once while learning the mechanics of the Enrage phase, although it only took me 3 or 4 tries to beat Leviathan.

davyheinz posted...
I didn't find him that difficult compared Vardorvis, who I thought was much more difficult. I found out being more liberal with shadow spell resets was the best strategy. The rock special was annoying, but you just need to build a wall to make it so you can't get hit by the blast that is coming. Never got hit by it in any of my attempts at any rate. I agree the light is important in the last phase. I saw on the wikia that if anyone is struggling with the last phase, you can buy a Webweaver Bow and hit Leviathan with two specials and that apparently will end the last part of the fight most of the time, which is the only part I thought was difficult, as Leviathan is a fairly forgiving fight compared to Vardorvis, who I had to use Cooked Moonlight Antelope + Cooked Karambwan to just BARELY beat (7 HP with no food left).

So I got the second Medallion (OSRS feels like Zelda OoT with this quest alright). I knew the Mysterious Figure was coming as soon as I got this, I just didn't know when... I teleported to my house to heal, no Mysterious Figure. Teleported to Grand Exchange to stock up on healing items, still no Mysterious Figure. Grabbed a Dramen Staff and teleported to the desert with a fairy ring and RAN for the place where you put the Medallions. She showed up!!! I prayed against Magic and ran as fast as I could. She managed to freeze me several times which stopped me in my tracks. I ate food to deal with damage and as soon as I could move I ran again. Got to the Ancient Vault though and placed the medallion. Planning to try to fight her when I have another medallion as practice for when you do have to fight her. Shouldn't be too difficult as you just need to have a Melee+Range Gear Switch and you can pray against Magic the whole time (her most dangerous attack style). Also heard some people just camp by the healing bowl in their house or the Elidinis Statuette in Nardah and can get free heals while fighting her. Granted, neither can be used in the final fight with her, but is an option if you don't want to run from her.

Next time I'll be going back to Ghorrock, specifically the Ghorrock Dungeon to face Duke Sucellus. He is ugly alright.
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Duke_Sucellus

By the way, maybe spoilers for RS2/3, but does anyone know what quest in RS2/3 allows you access to the surface level of Ghorrock and let's you see the Ritual Marker/Old Shrine? Just feels weird to me we are exploring the underside of this place before we can explore the surface (which can actually partially be seen in the game at Weiss).
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Old_Shrine

I heard it plays a big part in the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest, but as Zemouregal's Base has been added to the game, I'm wondering if a future analogue to the The Curse of Arrav quest will let us see the Ritual Marker/Old Shrine.

Thanks! I think you'll hit below 7 minutes without looting. I believe it is around a 15 seconds loss every loot.

I'm starting to hit the lower 6 minute mark (like around 6:10) more often now though overall avg for me is around 6:30 I wanna say. This is still in the 90s thousand xp rate which beats any of the other courses.

I recently seen a 1 hour clip of a player with the rsn "pufffml" getting consistently getting below 6 minutes at sepulchre. Down to 5 mins and 20 seconds. His xp rate was 107k an hour which is insane. I don't know if ill ever hit that level but ill try lol. At that point in time he was close to 140m agility xp w/ thousands of grand coffin opens so he'd been at it for a while

Congrats on beating Leviathan! Ill keep that info in mind whenever I do the quest.

Yeah, it also took me like 4 tries to do Leviathan. I think Vardorvis was two tries and then Duke and Whisperer were one try. My brother had issues with Whisperer due to sanity but somehow I was able to just do it without giving a shit. I didnt even watch the sanity meter halfway into it. The final fight took me like 4 tries because of the last two opponents, I think it was. I didnt die anywhere though, just kept trucking and teleported out when it got bad.

People's opinions may differ, but I don't agree with this. Both Vorkath and Galvek are fairly easy fights. Yes, you might die once or a few times, but the mechanics aren't too difficult. With Vorkath, it is just a matter of dealing with his Special Attacks properly (in particular, the acid followed by fire breath can be a little tricky), but once you have that down, the fight isn't that bad. As for Galvek, I died twice to him, and both times it is because I forgot to dodge his instant kill fire attack from the sky. You will see it coming from a mile away if you are watching him, but I just...forgot. LOL. Once I remembered to watch out for the attack, all 4 phases went down pretty easily. Just a matter of having Ruby (particularly) and Diamond Bolts to knock out tons of the bosses' HP.

As for quests that are harder, 2 come to mind off the top of my head.
  1. Monkey Madness II with the 2 Demonic Gorillas + 2 Tortured Gorillas followed by the Glough fight. More the former than the latter, as having to fight 2 enemies which gang up on you with the entire trinity of combat is nasty, and Nieve isn't much help. Glough you almost definitely need Hit and Run Tactics unless you are almost maxed.
  2. Desert Treasure II...with its many bosses, is considered the hardest quest. Too many to list. Any of the Forgotten 4 (except Duke Sucellus) and the Sliske Wight Club probably are noteworthy.

Speaking of Desert Treasure II. I can gladly say that I have beat it! Got my quest cape!
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/2/2ef6fef5.jpghttps://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/0/0d852790.jpg

So Duke Sucellus was my third fight of the Forgotten 4 (he is the easiest by a significant margin). He is a demon, but he is just...stuck in the wall. You have to wake him up by giving him 2 potions you have to make. Then you have to "flinch" him. Pray Melee, and basically hit him and run behind a pillar, and do this every 5 ticks. I used a Bandos Godsword to lower his defense and bashed him with a Whip. The important thing is to keep a count of when the Special Attacks are coming. After 5 of his attacks, he whips out his eye. Hide through that, but you should be doing that anyway. After 3 more regular attacks (2 later in the fight), he throws gas canisters. Just run as soon as you know he throws these to the other side, and you won't have many problems. He also has a Magic Attack, but if you are always in Melee range, he won't use it. Think I had to retry the fight twice just to get the timing right, but once I got it, easy boss. Here is a picture of the jerk by the way from someone else's fight. Don't use Protect from Magic though, Protect from Melee is all you need if you are doing this fight the right way.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/4/41b9505d.jpg

______________________________________________

As for the last of the Forgotten 4... That would be The Whisperer. I had more retries against her than Leviathan at around 5-6 with 1 or 2 of those being deaths, while Vardorvis had a similar amount of resets but almost all of those were deaths due to how fast he did damage. So that makes her the second hardest in my opinion? Hard to say. I used a Trident of the Swamp for the fight. I also decided to upgrade my Magic Damage Gear with a Virtus Mask and a Malediction Ward to raise my max hit to 34.

She has some special attacks which require you to enter the Shadow Realm and are easy to deal with...and you need to freeze her after each one. What I struggled with was the timing for her regular attacks. She starts by attacking with 3 magic or 3 ranged attacks followed by a Shadow Tentacle attack which either hits like a + or an x. Move in an L fashion is the easiest way to deal with this. The problem comes with what happens after the special attacks. She starts mixing Magic/Ranged attacks together...so Magic, Magic, Ranged or Ranged, Ranged, Magic and eventually Ranged, Magic, Ranged or Magic, Ranged, Magic. It sounds simple, but having to change prayers so quickly while also dealing with shadow tentacles is a lot to keep track of. It took a while for me to get the hang of it, particularly the Ranged, Magic, Ranged or Magic, Ranged, Magic timings. She also has an enraged phase, but it isn't too bad considering at least you always know her pattern. She always starts with two ranged attacks, followed by two magic attacks, then 2 ranged, two magic, etc. Shadow Tentacles also speed up. She doesn't have much health left at this point, so I managed to hang on (and my prayer points hanged on as well considering Shadow Realm does a number on them), and get a win! Here is a pic of someone else fighting this boss.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/7/7abce123.png

So yeah, of the Forgotten 4, my difficulty order is...
Vardorvis >> The Whisperer > Leviathan >> Duke Sucellus.

Keep in mind, Vardorvis required me to use Thralls AND use tick eating Moonlight Antelope + Karambwans, hence why I use >> before The Whisperer. The other three were beaten without Thralls and just Sharks + Karambwans. Duke Sucellus is noticeably easier than the rest, particularly when you have his pattern down.
___________________________________
You also have to defeat the Mysterious Figure at the quest's end. Not too much to say. Just Prayer Magic and keep switch between Melee and Ranged as needed. Not too difficult.

(Will post Part 2 next; just need to verify spoiler tags are in place).

That brings me to the final battle. Against Sliske's Wight Club. You have to beat 4 Wights in a row. I opted for a Toxic Blowpipe + Dragon Darts and the Rigour Prayer for all 4. You use Protect from Ranged for the first 3 fights, then Protect from Magic for the last fight. I'll touch on all of them briefly.
  1. The Forsaken Assassin: This is just like the battle at the End of Secrets of the North. He uses Melee and Ranged, can only be damaged when he is in a white cloud, and also throws poison bottles like before. He uses Ranged more than Melee. Apparently you can watch his animation and tell when he will use Melee, but I couldn't figure it out. Just Prayed against Ranged and took some Melee damage.
  2. Kelta the Unworthy: Completely new fight, as you haven't fought her before. She attacks with Ranged, makes "clones", and uses special attacks which do big damage. You get a clone between you and her and the Special Attack hits the clone. I noticed even with Rigour and Bastion Potion (I have 82 Ranged), the Blowpipe had issues hitting her. The fight is probably the longest of the 4 due to this. Also, the clones do chip damage through prayer, so you have to decide to take all but 2 out (leave some for Special Attacks), or just weather the damage and keep attacking her. Not sure which is better. I initially tried to get rid of the clones, but eventually just kept wailing on her.
  3. Kasonde the Craven: Just like the previous fight. Pray Ranged, keep away from him, dodge the things he throws, and get near him when he goes to the room's center so you can dodge his highly damaging special attacks, which are massive shockwaves. Your timing needs to be quick to have any hope of dodging the special attacks. I probably took the most damage against him, although his defense is low and won't take too long to take down. The opposite of Ketla.
  4. Persten the Deceitful: You need to switch to Pray Magic immediately, but she isn't that hard at all. Just keep attacking her, attack her portals when they spawn, kill anything that pops out of them, and dodge the lightning (which is much more forgiving than Vanstrom Klause's in Sins of the Father imo).

Had issues with Ketla and Kasonde the most, the former due to how long the fight is while the latter due to his throwables and shockwaves doing a lot of damage.

Tried this fight a few times without Thralls and tick eating Moonlight Antelope + Karambwans, but I needed more damage/health to get through Ketla/Kasonde, so I eventually used both. Barely had anything left after getting to Persten, but she wasn't too hard. Beat the quartet with no prayer pots (had 2) and barely any food left. IIRC, it took 4-5 attempts, with 2 deaths.

Overall, I'm not sure if I would rank Sliske's Wight Club harder than Vardorvis or not...maybe it was actually a little easier due to none of these guys requiring the timing Vardorvis needs. Also only died twice while almost every fight against Vardorvis that wasn't a win was a death due to not having enough time with his high damage output if things go wrong to hit the Emergency Teleport. Still, it is a long fight, so plenty of time for things to go wrong...

So if you include want to include Sliske's Wight Club and the Mysterious Assassin, it goes...
Vardorvis > Sliske's Wight Club >> The Whisperer > Leviathan >> Duke Sucellus > Mysterious Figure.

Amazing quest by the way. I look forward to what Jagex will do with Sliske. Nothing will come close to what he did in RS2/3, specifically killing Guthix, but the Elder Horn's ability sounds still sounds terrifying. Really wonder what will happen when he collides with Lucien with the Stone of Jas + Staff of Armadyl at the "Final Ritual"?

Also, if anyone was wondering, the story of RS2/3 and OSRS have noticably diverged in the last few quests. Azzanadra managed to contact Zaros in the rough "equivalent" of this quest in RS2/3, but with Sliske breaking the tools Azzanadra used to contact Zaros, that won't be happening now. We are in uncharted territory.

As for what I will do now, I need a level or two more of Smithing and I will be able to complete the Elite Lumbridge+Draynor diary. Explorer's Ring 4 means High Alchemy can be used with Barraging Slayer tasks, while will make those more profitable by a fair margin over the Low Alchemy with Explorer's Ring 3 I have used in the past.

Also, I am at Level 99 (was 98 before using the Lamps in Desert Treasure). Just need one more level to get level 100, which is a requirement for 2 Hard Diaries which have great rewards (including Elite Void, which will help with grinding Vorkath). Probably will just do some Slayer and will hit that sooner or later. Maybe will also do Entry Level Tombs of Amascut to upgrade the Rune Pouch from 3 to 4 runes.

Good summary, sounds correct to me. I did it pretty quickly after it released, like a couple of days after since I heard about all of the bosses and didnt want to just wait time completely fucking up with no clue. There are probably some slightly better tactics now to
help with things, like the wights. I killed a lot of the clones but its probably better to not bother.

No worries on the mixup. The Acronyms are just 1 letter off anyway.

As for the Whisperer, I was getting better at the timings for the cycles of attacks at the end, so things were becoming more consistent. Interestingly, her Enrage Phase at the end isn't actually that bad considering at least you know what you have to pray against right away before she attacks (she always starts with ranged). Also doesn't require tick level precision for the Magic/Range/Magic phase right before the Enrage phase. Course the tentacles become more difficult to deal with. Still think she is harder than Leviathan though. Everything before his Enrage phase is easy, and his Enrage Phase isn't too bad if you keep up with the protection thingy...and again, you can apparently skip it most of the time with 2 Webweaver Bow specials according to the wikia.

Thanks regarding the Quest Cape. I learned it has uses in quickly getting to a Fairy Ring for Meiyerditch Blood Rune crafting. Let's you still pull off the method with the same number of inventory slots as people who have the Construction Cape and is the same amount of ticks apparently. Do want to give that a try, so glad to have it. Also completed the Lumbridge and Draynor Elite Diary part that needs it already, which is great, as apparently if another quest comes out I would have to do it to use the Cape for the Diary component.
