This. With Chaos Emeralds, he's pretty much a Super Saiyan, that's literally what Super Sonic was designed to be. And none of those characters seem readily equipped to deal with that kind of speed.

Even without the emeralds, Sonic's up there, specifically because none of these characters are Flash-esque threats. He might win regardless, but Super Sonic just makes it a wash.

Piccolo would solo, even against Super Sonic. Piccolo is magnitudes stronger now vs when Goku first went SSJ. Super Sonic is not gonna be much more powerful than Namek SSJ Goku.

Isn't literally all of that not canon? For sure Orange Piccolo/the movie isn't. I feel like Tournament of Power, as far as the anime goes, wasn't, either.

Orange Piccolo would ruin super saiyan Sonic. Even if we reduce them to their base forms Piccolo would still win.

I'm also pretty sure the DBS anime was ruled non-canon, at the least.

This actually is helpful, yeah. I was Googling stuff like "Are the dragon ball movies canon," and getting a lot of "no" results, but I didn't get as specific as "are the dragon ball super movies canon," so that's on me.

And from what I know, Orange Piccolo is canon, Even without that, he stomps. Probably Saiyan saga Piccolo would be enough and that's being generous.

There's so many forms of these characters.
Do we assume the strongest or in general or what?
In general, I vote wolverine. That guy can go berserk and also healt. Which leads me to consider Luke, who could probably stomp any of them when he's under the power of the dark side, while also being able to heal.
There's so many forms of piccolo, i assume most mean piccolo Jr. Still doesn't make a huge difference cause i think others could take him.

This is a character on the level of casual planet busters at the least in early DBZ. Just want to ask how the others could handle that >_>

Depends on way too many factors. Pretty much every comic character (including Sonic) had some sort of moment where nobody could have beaten them.

Piccolo, if it's current piccolo after the Super Hero movie. Otherwise, Sonic wins if he gets access to Super Sonic.

Other-otherwise, Cloud and Tifa because they get anime character scaling.

To put Piccolo into perspective, relating to Luke and the like... if Piccolo were in the Star Wars universe, he would be more powerful than the Death Star. Individually capable of nuking planets, fast and agile enough to beat the entire rebel fleet in a straight up battle, and tanky enough (plus regen) to stand there and endure a barrage from a capital ship.

Yeah, he would essentially be more powerful than an entire fleet, while condensed into one man-sized package capable of incredible speed and very high intelligence.

Luke wouldn't even get close to him if they fought.

Orange Piccolo's power scales comparatively to the new forms, around Blue to Ultra Instinct, Ego and Beast. Meaning he's pretty much by far beyond universal level, multiversal if we're bringing in feats like TOP, Super Broly and the new manga chapters.

Not yet. In the past, I've seen some out-there takes from EU Luke fans in particular, though I think over the years those people have thinned out.
