Phone calls, without question. Since then I don't have to do the texting back/forth for 20-30 minutes over nothing. (This is in a relationship, not initial dating).

Mostly text, but I can ignore a phone call.

Text is my new referrer way
to contact me. I dont care for FaceTime or group texts, though.

Text, which is what my gf and I do now. It's just more convenient because I can respond at my leisure instead of having to dedicate all of my attention to a voice or video call.

Text, and I do mean text, without shouting a long-ass audio message that bystanders don't care to hear.

Text for correspondence and check in pics.

Facetime for most of the females I talk to. GFs of course, Friends, relatives. Gives you more to talk about. I especially like being facetimed while a woman casually goes about her life. Loved talking to my cousin while she hangs with her kids at home because I'm not a parent and they're always on their best behavior when I see them in person. GF will take the phone into the dressing room and change while I'm at work. I'm in a running club and support group and getting facetimed when you're supposed be somewhere but not by club members is really nice and refreshing. Of course you only receive requests to facetime I can't be the one that initiates.

I can't think of a time I've facetimed a guy.

In a hypothetical relationship that I will never have? Probably video calls like Face time. At the very least, regular phone calls. I can't STAND texting. It's so annoying.
