I'm sure I saw movies in theaters prior, but the first one I have memories associated with would be The Phantom Menace. I have a memory of playing a claw machine game before or after, and I remember knowing we were going to see Star Wars.

Titanic or Phantom Menace. I know I saw Titanic and I feel like I remember enough of it to count, but I definitely remember Star Wars with my dad and brother.

Land Before Time, November 1988

I was 4 years old at the time. I can definitely remember being there for the whole film.

I can possibly remember flickers of seeing movies before that but I can't be sure if they're real experiences.

It could have been Earnest Saves Christmas, but I think I saw it closer to Christmas and therefore after Land before time. I definitely saw Earnest Saves Christmas in a theater though too.

Someone made this topic either earlier this year or some time last year, but my earliest memory of being in the theater is either Oliver & Company or The Land Before Time, which came out on the same day, but my family saw one before the other.

The first movie I can remember seeing in theaters was Twister.

When the movie was over and we left it was storming pretty bad which kinda scared me. Got home, storm was getting worse, I laid down in bed to sleep and the sirens started going off.

I was terrified, granted I was only around 10 at the time.

Funny enough I only remember leaving the theater afterwards. >_>

Wait, just checked and it looks like the Power Rangers movie beats it by a few months. That was a drive in though. I remember the smell of mosquito repellent >_>
