I was sitting in my car watching something on my Kindle, and felt something brush against my leg. When I turned on the light, a dog had climbed into the driver side door, and was sitting by my feet. It took a while to get her out of the car, but I did. But I think she wants to go back in, because she circles the car a few times after seeing me get water from the passenger side. And sometimes tries to look through the window

Now, she seems to be following me around. Shes just laying in the bed of my truck while Im hanging outside. But I feel bad just leaving her out here. But I also dont know how shell do around my pets, so I dont wanna bring her inside. She seems to trust me enough to let me pick her up, so she seems good with humans, at least

Do dogs in whatever country you live in have to be microchipped ? if so then a vet should be able to scan it and contact the owners assuming is a lost dog.

I dont think they have to be. But I was going to take her to one on Monday if shes still hanging around to see if she was chipped.

Tbh, I do like her. And wouldnt mind her as another dog. It just depends on how she would do around my dog

I'd try and find out who she belongs to if possible. If not well....I guess the dog now has a pet human.

Yeah. Im planning to take her to the vet tomorrow to see if she has a chip. If not, Ill see about introducing her to my dog and seeing if they get along. If they do, she can live with us. Shes such a sweet girl. She just seems to hang out in my backyard when Im not with her

Well, no chip. So, I guess social media is the next place to look. See if someone posted about a missing dog. If I dont find anything for a week, I guess Ill see about adopting her As long as she gets along with Blue, and doesnt try to kill Snow. That said, Snow wont be happy either way

I think I found her owners. Just gotta wait for them to message me back

Any update?

Find the owners on Facebook. They posted a video of their missing dog, and it was definitely her. So, I messaged them, and her husband came by and thanked me a bunch, and she went home. They lived a couple of streets over. And she got out a couple hours before I found her. So, she just probably got a little lost, and figured someone would help her back home eventually

Same. I know Id be happy to get my pets back, so I want to make sure the same can be said for all the owners missing a part of their family

She. And the vet said probably a bully mix maybe. But she does definitely look like a pit. Super sweet, though. And very calm.

CE would hate her, but she does look sweet
