It's worth looking back into it. Final Shape just came out a month ago, the finale of the 10-year Light vs. Darkness saga. And miraculously, they somehow managed to make it incredibly satisfying. But its called Galaxy Fantasia and is actually a sci-fi setting. You can design your own ship and the design actually matters. But you can submit drawings to the server AI if you have AI designers hired and get some decent ships out of it without needing to be able to know how a ship works. Or you could get players who went into the incredibly in depth crafting system and such instead since they may do better. That is just the start of this fantasy.
