Good pick but I would rate pretty much any of the major sequels above it. First entries are kind of simultaneously at an advantage and disadvantage.

Keeping THPS or THUG games off was hard. I want PS5 remasters of the THUG games SO BAD

Nah I liked Asylum the most. It had better pacing. City was just too big at times and forget those Riddler trophies

yea, I really liked City, but I thought that Asylum almost hit all the right notes.

the Venom boss fights were lame, but that was about it, for me.

Absolutely disagree. I'm always on the edge of hooking up the GameCube again for 2, but never that tempted to play through 1 again. I do like 1 though.

It has good humor but that's where the quality ends tbh. Inventory management is a nightmare, the final dungeon is one of the grindiest ever, and that mushroomized status would have single-handedly ruined the game tbh.

Perfect Dark

Loved that one, it's definitely more polished than Goldeneye was. However the nostalgia factor gives Goldeneye the edge for me alongside the soundtrack being one of my favorites on the N64.
