People feel threatened enough and the economy sucks. He is only going to enact shit policies that is going to hurt people more and more to the point they feel life isn't worth living anymore. And when that happens, someone is going to want to take him down. I am definitely surprised it took this long though. You could feel it coming, as much as you don't want it to happen and dont want to believe it can happen, t was bound to. You've had a Republican party and their media arm demonizing anyone who is not in lockstep with them as dangerous and anti American for 20+ years turning the political discourse to unbelievably toxic levels. Then you have Trump who has unabashedly behaved as a real life cartoon villain who is nakedly threatening American democracy. I'm sure someone has tried long before then, we just haven't heard about it. Most attempts get shutdown before they start.

Behold the mentality of the average Trump voter. Neo nazis marching in Charlottesville doesn't matter to him. The people dead from a pandemic Trump intentionally downplayed doesn't matter to him, the human rights lost because of Trump appointed judges doesn't matter to him, and the tyrannical plans Trump has in store for 2025 if he wins certainly doesn't matter. Rallies and whatnot are always high security events right? I'm sure there's thousands of people out there willing to try and kill any major politician if they are given the chance. The attempt the other day was a freak occurrence, there will never be another chance like that again. I'm sure at every single rally, there are plenty of people probing and looking for security flaws to take advantage of. Trump has that many people who hate him. The possibility generally doesn't exist to begin with due to security. ... Copied to Clipboard!
