Like compare how the crew would banter pre timeskip. Lots of really goofy moments.

I don't know if this is a different style of anime adapting than before, or if it's simply that there are now so many strawhats that it's becoming a bit flanderised.

The anime looks really nice when it comes to fights but I really miss whatever direction was being taken before in terms of comedy gag moments. Like nothing in the past like, 400 episodes is funnier than this:
