Yeah its nice. Like most squaresoft games its more "passionate" fans on the net can exaggerate a little in just how good it was (I like it a lot, just not akldxcnsaljkdb nsajkldbsaklb bestest game EVAR untouchable every other rpg in existence sucks ass in comparison kind of extent I guess, lmao), but it is a legit good game.

Personally I actually prefer old classic games like this to get more high effort kind of "remake" compared to getting a more simple coat of paint (I've already experienced chrono trigger enough times in my life time that just being in 2.5D won't do much for me). I have always wanted to see chrono and the gang in beautiful high definition 3D, and i really wish star ocean 2 got at least a trials of mana like type of treatment compared to what it got (I did buy R and its ok for what it is, but at the end of the day its still the same lil' sprites and the same old game I beat mad times on the PS1.....and 2 psp playthroughs), but thats just me though.

I was playing it recently, but started playing Vicky 3 with the release of the new DLC, and it's a good game. Got as far as recruiting Ayla. Not the best JRPG but a really solid tittle.
