Hogan doesn't catch strays, he deserves most of the shit he catches.

All of this somewhat implies that right wingers in 2024 care remotely about policy, taxes and infrastructure. Their platform is being anti-woke, literally nothing else matters. The film idiocracy was a template for politics in the current decade.

These are not strays. Hogan is getting shit for actions he actively took as part of a conversation that he took part in.

If they suddenly compared the RNC to the Las Vegas Raiders because they are both garbage shit organizations who bring out the worst in mankind. That would be the Raiders catching strays because they were absolutely not part of the conversation. The only issue there would be that it's a bad comparison because the RNC have actually had a meaningful win in our lifetimes.
