Character-wise, Cable, Domino, and Firefist are all absent; the only characters introduced in DP2 who are present in DPnW are fairly inconsequential (I know, I know, shame on me for even daring to suggest that Peter is inconsequential, but you don't exactly need to watch DP2 to have him fit into DPnW's plot).

Plot-wise, the most significant aspect of DP2 that carries over into DPnW is 2's mid-credits scene. So you might wanna watch that on Youtube if you have no intention of watching DP2.
