I wonder what the argument from Republicans will be when they vote against it. How they will spin the idea that the president should somehow be above the law. I imagine Johnson won't even bring it up in the House, even if it somehow passed the Senate.

It still seems like I'm missing something on the immunity ruling. I would think being immune for official acts wouldn't cover anything outside the day-to-day job of being President.

Congress putting that in writing to make it clear would be a good thing though, especially calling it the "No Kings Act."
