I think in terms of George Floyd and the protests, there are some valid criticisms from the left on Walz's handling of it and him being at the center of pushing to make it harder to prosecute cops. But it's nothing he can't overcome like it doesn't outweigh all the other good stuff he's done.

There's no valid criticism from the right though.

I asked Tim Walz about IVF politics in February.

"My wife and I used Mayo Clinic reproductive services, and my daughter Hope was named Hope for a reason," he said.

"Because married for eight years, no children, wanting children. We got Hope because of this type of stuff."

Winning candidate. Remember, Republicans voted against IVF access. This is a winning issue for Dems because Republicans are so off the deep end when it comes to reproductive rights.

Tim Kaine was arguably the worst pick for a VP ever. Not because he's unqualified, but because he's Tim fucking Kaine, arguably the most boring Senator in US politics. He added absolutely nothing to her ticket.

He may not be why she lost, but he absolutely didn't bring in a single vote, not even in Virginia. He had no brand at all to him. At least Joe Lieberman was a Connecticut Senator. That was another awful choice, but he was at least on TV and in the news now and then.

Exactly. You don't have to agree with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz on *everything* but they seem like ordinary, everyday people who are interested in doing boring, everyday things that will help the lives of Americans.

Trump and Vance on the other hand are freaking weirdos, and their biggest cheerleaders (Boebert, Greene) are even stranger. Calling them weird is the politically correct term...the *truth* is that they're freaking nuts and they come across as incredibly creepy and deranged.

I wanna say Weiner is the one I pissed my grandad off over. When allegations came out over him he said something along the lines about its always a democrat. I happened to be on the computer and like 10 seconds later I spun the monitor around and showed him where republicans had been nailed for similar.

Mind you I actually still voted republican back then. I just hate when people feel the need to lie to make their point.
