A burger is a sandwich in which the protein is ground meat or a meat alternative pressed into a patty. It is still a burger even if there is no bun, or it's made into a sub, or chapped up toppings on a pizza. A piece of fried chicken on a bun is just a chicken sandwich.

Lemonade is made with actual lemon juice, sugar, and water. Some other things can be added, but the flavor is coming from real juice. Sprite is not fucking lemonade.

These points must be conceded. In return, American cheese and others can be recognized as not real cheese. They can even be recognised as such if that's necessary. Just don't call clear carbonated stuff real lemonade.

In most of the world Sprite and like soda is considered lemonade, while the American version of lemonade is just called "lemon juice" or "lemon drink"

American cheese is real cheese. The "cheese product" nonsense is just regulatory bull crap from the FDA. The cheese in question is mixed with water and flavor neutral binding agents to create a cheese that melts uniformly consistent. And not all American cheese has that label as long as the water threshold is under the FDA limit.

If the chicken is ground, it's a chicken burger.

I hate this. Sprite is lemon AND LIME. Not just lemonade. In the UK we have clear lemonade that's similar but it's a different drink.

It's a translation issue. In Italian the words Limonata and Aranciata translate to Lemonade / Orangeade but the drinks they're used to describe in Italy are very much what most people in America would consider sodas or sparkling water at worst. Like Orangina.
