Mopping and vacuuming are chores that I don't mind doing, but I definitely don't do it enough to keep the floors 100% clean. I've done a mix of vacuum/mop and vacuum only sessions 84 times and now the mop pads are barely picking up any dirt. This is cool. I'll probably still need to manually mop if I get some stains on the floor, but that's not a big deal.

I know I'd never get my floors clean if it required me mopping and vacuuming for over 40 hours.

My friend gave me his old one. I ran it once, I need to play around with the app because I guess you can more accurately control where it goes. Surprised both that it didn't fall down the stairs and that my dogs in large part didn't give a shit about it scootin around the house. lol

Been meaning to get one I have 5 pets and our floors need vacuuming at least 2x per week to keep up with the fur accumulating.

Yeah, I've still got some stuff I need to move so that it can clean more of my floor downstairs.

Get some of that insulation that wraps around pipes.

Just the insulation gives you a collapsible bumper that you can put under any low furniture (just out of eyesight) to prevent it getting stuck.

My problem is that I've just been using the dining room area as a place to put stuff that I'm either not using or rarely using. I need to move that stuff somewhere else so that it's cleaning the entire area instead of just bumping into that stuff and cleaning around it.

I never bought any dining room furniture because I'm the only one who lives here and I just eat at my desk or on my coffee table.

Do you have a cat that rides the robot while its cleaning?

I was skeptical of these things until I got one as a gift. Definitely nice to have.

I was more laughing at the thought of cats riding on robot vacuum cleaners (and videos I've seen of it). I'm considering getting a pet, but not sure when I'm gonna do it. I really want to hit a number of financial goals before I do that.

I had one, but got rid of it. Wasn't impressed by the cleaning, or the ability to navigate.

Our two cats do not ride it. They fuck with the bristles as its moving through.

We have two. Great to keep pet hair down. Looking to replace the downstairs one with vacmop that isn't $2k later this year.
