No not brainwashed. I would say at most half of Republican voters will vote for any Republican and Trump is just the name in the ticket. Yes I am saying 20 to 25 percent of voters are brainwashed, not in the direct sense but in the sense that their opinions are formed not by observable reality but by the media they watch.

I wanna dig into this. Because on issues outside of our own areas, we are all to some extent at the whim of the media we consume. Like, I've never been to Ukraine, or seen the inside of an immigration detention facility. I am reliant on media to relay information about those things, and a whole host of other matters.

Now, you can say that their preferred media shares less in common with reality than ours, but I think it's important to see just how easily one can slip into these blindspots.

What bizarro world did I step into, because that is not happening.

That being said, I'm seeing as of late this push on YouTube to have "black conservative men" on social media. Not saying most of us are conservative, but it does appear the GOP is using social media to convert specifically black men as much as possible. And the angle seems to be tugging at hysterical characterization of the left which tends to be the Rose Twitter types.

What I'm saying is, Democrats should look into combating that.

I don't think you're as smart as you think you are.

It's only neck and neck now, but Harris is rising so much faster than anyone predicted. It wasn't as close a week ago, and the gulf will only grow more and more as Trump visibly falls apart more and more.

Don't confuse a vocal minority with the average voter. Trump's base has only gotten louder, not bigger.
