So, the spell list would be altered, but if you multiclass into a different full caster like Druid, you retain your spell slot count. So a level 12 cleric will have the same spell slots as a 6/6 cleric wizard. Don't remember how that effects the spell lists though.

You only get spells up to the level in that particular class. So if you multiclass 6 Cleric 6 Druid, then you get all the spell slots you normally would since both classes are full casters, but you don't go past 3rd level spells in either class.

I adore multiclassing but I don't know if I'd recommend it for a first playthrough.

Deity choice is purely for dialogue flavor, it has no gameplay effects. Shadowheart's deity can't be changed by the player; she will always have Shar as her deity up until the end of Act 2, unless you make the wrong choice.

what is the "bad/evil ending" for Lae'zel? Loyal to Vlaakith?

Lorewise, Vlaakith is like level 25 or so, so like Drizzt said a level 12 Laezel on her own wouldnt stand a chance against her.

Randomly started a Shadowheart file to maybe do some multiclass shenanigans and had this scene where you can try giving a Sharran prayer over the fallen. In a good way.

If you mean specifically Lae'zel's narrative, she does have an anti-Vlaakith ending but it has less to do with her personally since that would be like a single ant conquering 1700s France.

The Anti-Vlaakith ending is what I normally get for Lae'zel.

Might just let her be Anti-Vlaakith again for Durge since she doesn't really gain anything by staying loyal to Vlaakith while DJ Shart takes over the cloister from Viconia and Ascended Astarion, well, ascends. Lae'zel will not become food!

Got to Act 3 for my Monk. Since he's romancing Lae'zel, I have an ending question.

Can my Monk and her have a happily ever after, like my Paladin/Shart and Rogue/Gale endings? Usually have Lae'zel ride off on the red dragon to join in the fight to liberate her people, because Orpheus goes squid. I'm thinking Orpheus should not go squid for this to happen, but then who should squid because it's not gonna be me.

Don't know much about Viconia, but I do remember her slightly from BG2. I never got that far into it, honestly, but maybe when I get tired of BG3 (which'll probably be a long while), might consider going back to it. Gotta be on PC instead of Steam Deck, though, I imagine.

*BG3 must be the first game I've ever done simultaneous runs on. Usually I do one playthrough at a time. I wonder what gives BG3 that special sauce that makes me do it differently here lol.
