Anyone else have a game where they played it and they wouldn't be able to play it again because it wouldn't be the same? I feel that way about Kingdom Hearts 2. I've played the first one a lot but I have only played the second game once back when it was released and I beat it in a weekend and it was one of my favorite games of all time but I have never been able to go back. Maybe it's fear that it didn't age well and that it would only be nostalgia making me feel this way? I don't know but I think there is beauty in never playing a game again after it is beaten.

I can see never going back to it but I feel that's because once you completed it, months have passed lmao. jk

OG RE4, i played it non stop and then beat it right away in professional, then never went back to it.

I want to say GTASA story mode. I did replay it eventually only to investigate the Area 69 base.

Maybe because the era and area resonated with me, but I liked the thought of someone on top of the world in that place. I didn't necessarily want to experience his lows again. One of my craziest wishes would be to live in 1992 as an adult doing well in California. I saw it from the perspective as a kid, and wondered what was possible with independence as an adult.

Granted I do get to stomp some of the areas now, but 2010's - 2020's are weak af.

The Ultima 1-4 games.

From 2010-2017 I had a working Windows 95 machine and I played a bunch of games on it. Good times. Even if I played them again, the feel of a Pentium II...man I just can't surpass that unless I get another Pentium II machine.
