The only color consistently available from Nintendo is the black one, and the only other variations have been limited editions. Why not make full-on red, blue, green, etc. Pro Controller colors? Even the Wii U Pro Controller had both black and white variations, and the Switch ended up being worse than that.

Meanwhile, I just bought an Xbox controller because I'm looking into some Steam games for the first time (I only used it for Universe Simulator before), and the Xbox store on Amazon has controllers in many different colors readily available. Same with Playstation and its controllers.

I know Nintendo wants to focus more on the Joy-Cons, but not even all the colors released for it are available. But as far as an actual traditional controller goes, I miss the N64 days when where was a certified rainbow of color options available for N64 controllers.

I was admittedly surprised a couple years back when I looked around online for a red pro controller, as I had honestly assumed that of course Nintendo offered multiple color versions of it. Definitely odd for Nintendo to not do so, as thats a nice and easy way to make money.
