masterpug53 08/22/24 2:14:18 PM #8:	Kinda funny how I for years held a major grudge against Tactics Ogre based on the PSP release and could not for the life of me see what other people saw in that game, and yet a single playthrough of TO: Reborn on the Switch put it over FFT for me. You can break the game but that's a consequence of how much flexibility it gives the player. It's basically simulated battles of FFT in a tournament style that you can try to enter into. It's amusing. I have it another try after I played fire emblem which to me had a easier learning curve so it was like emblem taught me the basics. Once I retried it I liked it. Subsequent playthroughs since I've loved it. I believe the learning curve that put me off was getting the hang of landing magic attacks where they didn't simply move out of the way or bum rush towards your party members so they took the hit too. ZaruenKosai 08/24/24 12:32:26 PM #38:	Soundtrack was Glorious First time I played this game , I had rented it from a video game store back in the 90s, and I couldn't get past the second battle , (first battle where you control a full party) at Magic City Gariland, I had never played a Tactical RPG before and I also did not know how to switch characters in the formation screen so I kept trying to fight the battle with Just Ramza and Delita, and although it is doable, I was unable to complete the battle, for months I thought the game was stupid, than at some point someone told me you can switch characters and add more characters to your party at the formation screen and I was flabbergasted. Next time I played it, I put the discovery to use and was amazed to see it worked! I than fell in love with the game and played it until I beat it. I also felt foolish for not figuring it out myself.
