'Western' business wear has always been shit and will continue to do so. Have fun with the global warming the wearers caused. --- "While you were wasting your time castrating a priceless antique, I was systematically feeding babies to hungry mutated puppies!" -The Monarch ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wore ties throughout primary and high school and learnt to tie my own when I was probably around 8 and somehow still remember even though I've not worn a tie in a long time I recently started working for an accounting company with rather high standards. The two partners (both male) do not wear ties and neither does myself or the other guys in the office. Also, as others have said, men's professional "fashion" sucks. --- Stand out, fit in ... I did not wear a tie, and neither did any of my interviewers, ever. Would have been really weird vibes honestly. I've had family members pass away but never any sort of "normal" formal funerals. Most recently was my grandmother and our big family event thing was a celebration of life where (among other things) we ended up going to her favourite casino and playing penny slots for a few hours (everyone took a turn on her favourite machine) I wore a tie for the first time at a wedding not too long ago. Other than that, I just... haven't really attended weddings? Marriage rate in my demographic is not super high and even after that I think it's becoming less and less common to have big fancy ceremonies. The wedding I wore a tie to had a total of 7 people including the couple themselves --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! THERES SO MUCH PEOPLE READING AND POSTING STUIPED STUFF ... kirbymuncher posted... honestly I kinda wonder I always wear a polo to interviews. I used to have a suit that had basically a fancy ass t shirt that went under the suit coat. It looked good. Blue suit coat and this particula fabric style and it was gold for the shirt paired with tan dress pants and brown dress shoes. That's what I typically wore to formal functions. I know how to tie a tie and even like wearing a tie but i got that suit on a whim and rocked with it. Lol just remembered my mom's wedding I went and got a fancy/formal looking fedora (nothing like a neckbeard would wear) to go with the suit. Even had like a feather I think sticking out of the band. Long story short I didn't wanna get a haircut so I wanted a hat. --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ... Copied to Clipboard!
