GuerrillaSoldier 08/24/24 9:33:51 PM #4:	honestly, i never really liked them. i always thought they were too slow. the villains are especially silly. snipes is fantastic as blade but even then he can't hold them all up on his own. i recall 2 being slightly better than 1. 1 has pacing issues. and 3 was just horrible, really just a bad movie in general. but in terms of comic book movies overall, excluding MCU, they're not so good. i would even rate them under things like dredd, rocketeer, and daredevil directors cut. --- Disclaimer: There's a good chance the above post could be sarcasm. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with Blade 3 if it focused more on Blade and showed less of the extremely uninteresting side characters. Pretty fucking crazy it came out before the matrix the second replaced wire fu fight scenes with cgi, and the tech just wasnt there yet. Took me out of the movie, but still a decent watch. I dont like 3. Reynolds was basically the star, not Blade.
