Went to my first concert a few months ago and did not expect it to be that loud. Between the loud bass and the crowd screaming I had to use my Airpods and turn on the noise cancellation feature to make it even bearable and it was still unconformable. Going to a different concert next week but this time want to be prepared and have a pair of earplugs ready, any of you guys/gals have any recommendations?

The cheap sponge ones work fine.

Want something more sophisticated, look at the ones made by Loop. They do good products.

We've see dozens of shows a year and have been using the Loop buds for five years. I will never see a show/go to the theatre/vacuum without them.

Those work better that things like Loop, but also make it much harder to hear higher frequencies. I wore them for half a show before taking them out because I couldn't hear Damon Albarn's voice at a Gorillaz show.

I use this style. They're relatively cheap (not as cheap as the sponge ones) and do a great job at reducing the noise, while still being able to hear very well. Highly recommend. This brand is called "Hearos"

I just use those yellow sponge ones that go in the ears. They get uncomfortable after a while but its worth putting up with to enjoy a concert every now and then without damaging your hearing

We bought a set for each of us from Fender's amazon storefront. They're out of stock now, but available on their website. https://www.fender.com/en-US/accessories/ear-plugs/musician-series-black-ear-plugs/0990542000.html

The little sponge ones are good. They protected my hearing from aircraft engine noise so they should cover a concert quite well.

I bought these things called "Vibes" because they were on Shark Tank. They're purpose-made for concerts.

Will probably go for the Loops cause Amazon has them and they'll be able to deliver it before the day of the concert. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I'll need to dig mine out for the Sonic Symphony Orchestra in October. I'm sitting closer to the stage than I did for the last one.
