I bought two "Drinking Boys and Girls Choir" shirts when they played in Montreal.

They're South Korean pop/hardcore/ridiculous band. Fucking awesome. They opened for Otoboke Beaver.

He can't name a single album!

I think the only band shirts I ever owned were Led Zeppelin shirts and I haven't worn band shirts since like 2012 or something

I haven't worn any graphic T since I was a kid. Pretty sure the ones I had then my mom got at Good Will.

I cant remember the actual last purchase but it would have been in the late 1980s. Music was always a big part of my life growing up but it was seriously such a massive part of my life as a kid. Pre-Internet days and back when most houses had just 1 tv just in the living room I spent A LOT of time listening to music in my room when my dad was watching stuff I wasnt interested in.

When I was in junior high that was my phase where I had band posters all over my wall, and seriously my wardrobe at school for about 3 years was nothing but band shirts. God I had so many. Its all I wore.

This was around 1987, 1988, and 1989. Me moved in 1990 and I was a freshman in high school and when we moved I never put any of my posters back up and I would occasionally wear a band shirt my freshman year but it was pretty rare at that point.

Listening to music was still a massive part of my life as was buying albums and collecting music but I had kind of passed the phase where I was into the posters and shirts. For the last 30 years I wear pretty much nothing but plain colored fruit of the loom t-shirts. As cheap and plain as you can get. Mostly gray (both regular and charcoal dark) , black, or dark blue.

I could be wrong but I think one of the last shirts I bought would have been a Metallica And Justice For All shirt in 1989.

We had this great music store in our area that had tons of band shirts and they werent knockoff shirts. They were real tour shirts that were being sold in malls and stores by the band so you didnt actually have to catch them in concert to get a cool tour shirt.

This worked out well for me as a young teenager in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest. I loved big music stores back then. The music itself, all the posters to look through, all the shirts. Id spend an afternoon in the music store. Good memories.

Probably Clutch at the Stanley Hotel. I think I have refrained from buying shirts at concerts since then.

I'm actually not sure I've ever bought a graphic tee at all. People always give them to me as gifts. I would guess they're all appalled at my lack of fashion sense, but if that's the case, why are they trying to fix it by giving me graphic tees?
