Im a Gen X guy so Im probably biased to my generation but I seriously prefer 1978 Superman. I also love 1980 Superman II. Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman. i binged all the superman movies a few months ago because i had pretty much not seen any of them. i can honestly tell you i don't even remember man of steel. but i really did love superman i and ii. hackman's luthor was fantastic. hell even iv, which was a terrible movie on its own, is fun to watch because of him. --- Disclaimer: There's a good chance the above post could be sarcasm. No. It's okay when taken in isolation, but it's not a good Superman movie. I honestly think James Gunn's will probably be the best Superman movie because honestly....it doesn't have great competition outside of the first two Christopher Reeve movies, and James Gunn rarely misses when it comes to this stuff. --- I have nothing else to say ...
