I'm not saying this to defend Starfield. My point is it's too early to think this means anything to Bethesda. We won't know if it does unless we see what happens if they release DLC, for example.
Reputation matters. Yea, game sales are front loaded, but it's not like ongoing sales don't matter You think that 44% steam user score and all the negative sentiment and the lack of mods because the modders hate the game isn't hurting sales?
