Got it on PC. Will likely also get it on console when physical releases. It took them a literal decade to re release it after delisting it from the Xbox live store, so I'm making sure I have a copy they can't take away.

Man.....I'm actually surprised they kept the one dude in marvel vs street fighter in. The comedian guy that was removed from international versions. I can finally play as him.

I also like how they finally worked on the input lag that plagued PS4/PS5 versions of these fighting games and collections like mega man x legacy in general.

I'm sitting here in the gallery sound test on marvel vs capcom 2, and after all these years I still wonder why..............why this specific genre of music for this specific game where many marvel and capcom characters clash in vigorous combat. Like I'm listening to the swamp stage music and its all like "swing, your....boooodyyyyyy". Its so weird, lol.

Then again I really love capcom vs snk 2's london love making stage so I don't know.

I like it. I haven't put much time into it, and the inputs are a little more strict than sf6 but I appreciate the rush mechanic. As well as seemingly more defensive options than just "guess right or guet fucked"

And it seems like Marvel is the biggest issue as apparently they had specific requirements when promoting MVCI. Such as not allowing gameplay trailers to show their characters getting beat up.

There's also the whole only allowing the Marvel side to have MCU characters, but if there's another MVC, I don't think that'll be an issue as at this point, nearly every Marvel hero is either apart or will be apart of the MCU. Whether it's a movie or TV show. This includes the X-men and the Fantastic Four. The former just had the Deadpool & Wolverine movie and the latter's getting a movie next summer.

Heck the last MUA had X-men and F4 characters.

If it makes you feel any better my older bro is in the same boat. He bought the most recent 1up arcade cabinet collection for like 600 something dollars back in june this year I think. It was like a month or so away from when this collection was announced.
