@MrDrMan @Mistere_Man I have like 20 of them so I'm happy to give one. Just let me know who it should be DM'ed to. HelloFresh is the service btw. I always order from them when they send me crazy discounts since I ain't paying full price for their food. It's a rip off. And every order they give me codes. Just FYI, it is part of a subscription service. So what you do is pick your meals for the first box, then skip next week and the week after to give yourself plenty of time to cancel otherwise they gonna assuming you buying the next box. Once the free one gets delivered, just cancel the subscription and you are good to go! And I just double checked to see if they still active. I've had somewhat a similar story, sometimes better, sometimes worse than you. You have to stay strong and motivated, with a goal and focus on the goal. Make a goal, fulfill and make another goal and so on. I had an abusive dad, my brother left as soon as he was able to and one summer when I was 19, my dad apparently took the time to get all my clothes and stuffed it into a duffel bag, he told me to follow him as he walked out of the house with it, and he put it down. He then told me never to set foot in his house again otherwise he would beat me unrecognizable. It was actually past 6pm, no car, nothing. No phone (this was just right before everyone started to own cell phones) we actually moved sometime during me in high school so all my old high school friends were 30+ minutes away. My brother used to drive us to school. Anyway, so I walked to the park and slept there for the night, luckily I had a whole bunch of clothes in the duffel bag to keep me warm. The next day I tried to hitchhike that failed, so I ended up at a store, asked if I can use their phone, called one of my buddies. He picked me up. He still lived with his mom and sister, so I bummed on the couch just for the night but we called another friend who was living on his own with a roommate and I went over to his place and basically lived rent free for a few weeks until I got my first job, retail job. I couldn't live with him because rent would still be pricey, I did give him something like 200 bucks and long story short I saw my high school gf's friend who was shopping while I was working at my job, we chatted for quite a bit and she was looking for a 4th person roommate to cut costs of rent down, so I moved in with her and we eventually did hook up. Man, I remember those days, I ate maruchan ramen and 1 slice of white bread many many times for dinner (dip the bread into the soup) if things were going great, I would crack an egg into the soup while it was cooking. Also the employee lounge, lots of times fellow employees would buy a pack of bagels and creamcheese and set it on the table for anyone who wants it, somedays the one bagel would be my dinner. I should say what I was doing with my money, I got paid 600 bucks per paycheck (twice a month), and I would save one paycheck, while the other covered 400 bucks rent, and I would have just under 200 bucks a month for food and whatever. I should say my overhead was low as utilities were covered (at least as I understood I wasn't paying any utilities) and like I said, no cell phone. But I still had to stretch that for a month. Originally I took the bus to work but that was too costly so eventually I bought a used schwinn for I think it was 75 dollars, and I would bike to work everyday. It sucked major ass in the winter. I remember when we would splurge and take to the bus to the movies and watch a movie. I actually look fondly on those days I was poor. After 2 years of saving and living like a monk, I got a job at a hotel which paid more (780 bucks per paycheck lmao) but continued to save for a little over another 2 years. What was I saving for? I bought a house, a small POS house at the age of 25. I'll end my story there because people don't like what comes after that. Lmao. But I had razor sharp focus and goals that got me there. --- Fear of looking in the mirror and seeing who you REALLY are is sadly what makes most people extremely terrible. ... Copied to Clipboard!

On the job front, I would recommend applying to local regional banks for a bank teller job... they're literally always looking for people with customer service experience. Whether or not your experience included money handling, you can just lie about it and also talk about any cross-selling you did and tell stories about times customers came to you with complex issues and what you did to resolve them. Lot of stability in bank jobs ever since the Wells Fargo scandal made all the banks cut back on "goals" so not much stress and there's many different paths you can take if you want to move up. A lot of them don't involve sales if you don't like sales (i.e. administrative assistants or operations specialists for private banking, wealth management, commercial bank, treasury management, etc.) This is basically what I've always said to anyone I've known who's had a retail job anywhere and was looking for something with more opportunity and also didn't want to go back to school or learn a trade and the ones that followed through had positive experiences. --- Never forgive, never forget: The Lakers gave up Caruso, KCP, Harrell, Kuzma and Schroder's bird rights for Russell Westbrook. ...
