Im in the endgame, finishing up the post-game stars after the credits. The game starts really slow and kind of mindlessly easy, but the later challenges are really fun and interesting. The comet stars are juuuust difficult enough, and it feels exciting when a new one pops up.

im also not using a guide, so everything is new.

Ive never finished this before. Owned it on wii, stopped playing for some reason or another. Playing it on Switch.

I finally see why this game is so loved. Its just fun to do anything. Kind of sad, ive now pretty much gone through every 3D Mario except Galaxy 2. None of the indie games or competitors like Banjo really capture the controls or the fluidity and charm the Mario games exude.

I didn't know it was on Switch, I thought it was pretty dependent on the motion controls.

Switch has motion controls. You can also play it on a normal controller since it has gyro sensors.
