Dakota Johnson is fine. You all very likely haven't seen those roles. She just got critical acclaim for her role in Daddio with Sean Penn. She also got critical acclaim for Our Friend and Am I OK, then has appeared in a bunch of highly rated films like Peanut Butter Falcon, The Lost Daughter, and Cha Cha Real Smooth. So yea, maybe her big budget roles like Fifty Shades and Madame Web sucked, but ask yourself, could anyone else have done much with those scripts? Those films weren't critically panned because of her, they were panned because they were terrible films. Good actors do trash films. Look at Cate Blanchett in Borderlands for evidence of this. Anyway, most of the people mentioned don't really seem all that right. Roberts is quite good depending on the role. She's taken up the mantle of scream queen as late, and that's fine. Whomever said she got outshined in AHS by Kim clearly didn't see the season, because Kim was legitimate trash. Whomever wrote that dialogue should probably stop writing altogether. Scott Eastwood I mostly agree with, but he's not really even that big of a star. He does suck though. Just a charisma vacuum. Can't think of any of his roles that he shined in. Schwarzenegger's kid sucks too, but I only really saw him in that Boys spinoff. There's really not a lot of bad actors having longevity in the mainstream market. Even someone like Lilly Rose Depp, whom I can't really judge as I didn't know her name until that Weeknd show hasn't been in a lot of things for me to either remember her or notice. She is in Nosferatu, which is a mega step down from ATJ, but we'll see once the film releases. But generally when an actor is terrible or an anti draw, their time in the spotlight fades. Kevin Sorbo does everything he can to stay in the spotlight and all he has to show for it is a bunch of weird jesus movies. Hollywood doesn't care who you or your parents are. They care if you can draw a dime or light up a screen. Do these children have a leg up, absolutely. Without those connections who knows if their careers would ever take off.
