Did you even remember he added Tserriednichs childhood friends from the royal army? Who cares because now Beyond has 14+ secret children and possibly his own Kakin prince?

I've reread the latest arc in reread and I forgot about the mafia side of things.

This seems to be a bit of an unpopular opinion in the online fandom, but I'm invested in the succession arc. I hope someone will take down Tserriednich. Ya go my princes Halkenburg and Tubeppa.

...also I'm a bit scared at what Fugetsu will do, she doesn't look so good last time we saw her!

I think most people like the IDEA of the current arc, the issue is that it's the worst possible arc to be writing when you have chapters a year apart from eachother. It relies on keeping up with an extensive amount of details, text, and characters.

If we're truly back in business for the long haul, then I expect the opinions to turn.

Yeah... I remember being really surprised at the direction after the conclusion of the previous arc. I mean, sure, there were unresolved threads with Kurapika and the Spiders in particular, but making it a huge ass exploration/adventuring arc with a whole new continent is just... Ambitious. Even for mangaka without health problems.

Nah yeah hes genuinely trolling us. Ambitious doesnt come close it borders on psychotic. Let alone for a man with his health issues.

But hes laid the foundation. With 3 volumes coming this must be where he really lets loose and kicks things up a notch. The possibilities are genuinely endless. I fear the next hiatus may be our hardest yet.

Well he's got 5 months in the bank at least!

Yeah as much as I enjoyed the Troupe B-plot ft. Hinrigh I was very happy to cut back to the main story. I wanna see how things go with Melody and the 4th Prince, and the silent majority user. So many plotlines to visit and so few panels. Though Im sure the mafia side of things will tie in to the succession battle eventually. Im really excited to see how he chooses to proceed, I think any way you slice it its gonna be pure chaos.
