that really does feel like the right score. It's a 4/5 game but on a scale that goes to 10, an 8 doesn't feel right.

It's a very good game but the backtracking isn't as fun as in the 2D games. Which is kind of important for a search action game like this. Also, would have been really helpful to be able to mark the map.

Honestly disagree, its so much more fun to navigate the 3D space than the 2D games especially when you get full movement options.

I enjoyed it a decent amount when it came out, but did not have fun going back to the remaster. The backtracking is way slower than the 2D games, and the movement abilities aren't as joyful. At least the space pirate lore is good.

It's fine, I was just having fun with it too. This series has so far blown my mind on a few things (TLoU semi-bombing surprised the hell out of me!), and I enjoy B8's whiplash of opinions. That all being said:

I was very disappointed in the jump to 3D. I only played these all the way through because of Mercs and it was a huge slog.

I assume applies in this case? We did it with RE4. Feel free to discount my score if playing the remake doesn't count.
