Seems it's just a threat, he probably doesn't actually know her location, since it was via a public tweet. Otherwise, he would just sent the message directly to her house. I did hear that apparently he has been caught, although, I haven't heard anything about what Japan government and police department will do about him (he did threat the PM as well, would be odd if he was just let go).

The problem with EN, insofar as it can be described as 'a problem', is EN is rife with chronically overbooked Disaster Introverts who never set up collabs with each other, let alone cross-branch - Not to say they'd be against the idea (well, there's maybe two who would be), but they aren't going to go set one up and - for the most part - their taste in games/stream styles is divergent enough that we probably aren't going to see anyone approach to set up another one.

Bae still does stuff every so often but Bae's been hitting the dance practice grind super hard these last few months, the boys probably aren't going to reach out on their end.

Dunno what's up with Calli since ves/mag left but Calli's eternally busy so can't really expect her to be the icebreaker in that way

...it's a little sad to think about, 'cos I'd like nothing better than for Ruze to talk some of the girl's ears off about a niche shared interest or for Shinri/Shiori/Fauna to get Weird About Monsters together, but y'know how it is

Does Calli do any collabs with guys after the Trash Taste/CDawgVA stuff? I imagine she just doesn't want to deal with the fallout from stuff like that anymore. Mumei and Kiara definitely won't do any more, though neither were specifically with Stars EN I believe. Also corrrect me if I'm wrong but I believe Shiori and Fauna were in the "never collabs/interacts with guys" camp. I think the only chances of EN Live/Stars collabs are with Bae and ERB.

Like I can imagine babies IRL are probably thinking what Biboo and Kobo are saying when Callie is trying to keep them alive lol. It's coincidence: We've had DadRyS and very nearly had the men of the Ravencroft house on by accident a few times

Pretty sure the majority of the gang live alone or alone-ish so there isn't often an opportunity to -have- family members on even if they wanted to. Dooby living with her folks is a relatively recent thing (we're talking like...last half year, ish? It was part of the whole moving arc before she left)

Honestly, I think it's less about that and more that the vtuber market has matured to the point where you don't need a corp backing you unless you have a very specific game plan where it's beneficial--ones like Calli, Suisei, and Watame basically perfectly line up with Hololive. Outside of that you can have great success independently these days.

Maturing as a Vtuber fan is realizing that none of your oshis will be with a corp forever, and that some of them just don't fit that model.

to be fair, Chloe has been ill for awhile now. And while there's the usual "we'll wait for you to get better/get through all the deadlines", that's not going to jive for everybody

I do hope management improves though, even if it's not specifically a managerial issue

what's the appeal of any streamer? The only real difference in my view is that they have an avatar and not pogging directly at a webcam.

At least on the corpo side they do like...actual content instead of the react mill stuff normal streamers seem to fall into constantly, too

Mainly just watching gaming streamers as you would watch someone like Ludwig or Poki, but in a female dominated space. They can sing, dance, move their models in 3D, some even have concerts and solo lives. Basically just following a creator and watching them grow while supporting them.

For the successful ones, they're just naturally charismatic and talented, and that's attractive.

Also you find that there are otherwise introverted vtubers who open up when they don't have to put their actual face out there on a camera, revealing talents and skills they otherwise might not have had the courage to share.

I think that speaks to a lot of introverts, like they want to support someone finding their talent and audience without having to be a public face and personality.

Like I'll say right now that I didn't start streaming until I saw vtubers do it and was inspired to participate, even though I don't stream as a vtuber (mostly because I'm shy to make the financial commitment on that).
