light travels faster than an electrical current not that it's actually using light, though, but just in general logitechs lightspeed uses regular 2.4ghz communication, but in such a way that it's just faster than a wire. idk how they do it, they likely aren't going to tell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQxw-pX4dak&t=1s there's an ltt video where they actually go to logitech and detail how it's better --- see my gundams here https://imgur.com/a/F7xKM5r updated 08/01/24; hg mighty strike freedom ... ...yes? that wasn't the point with what i said, but either way. wireless, when done right, is faster than cabled because light moves faster than electrons. now, in practice, that's usually not the case and stuff like what logitech is doing is the exception rather than the norm. most people are also likely aware that say, wifi is going to be slower than ethernet (except in certain cases where the manufacturer cheaps out on the lan card, looking at you certain lg tvs) --- see my gundams here https://imgur.com/a/F7xKM5r updated 08/01/24; hg mighty strike freedom ...
