Absolutely not. It's based on a flawed premise.

Nah.

It's a nice idea and I'll use the term sometimes but I don't actually believe in it as some unseen force that has the ability to affect things.

Not as some kind of supernatural cosmic balancing force bullshit, no.

But if you are generally kind and respectful, people are more likely to reciprocate. If you go around being a 'people are arseholes', 'tell it like it is', 'I don't owe anyone anything' kind of wanker, you'll often find your biases are confirmed.

Pretty much sums up my feelings on the subject. I would say the same thing about the concept of luck.

Eastern and Western have very different concepts of Karma

Original Karma is more about attachment to the material/physical world rather than simply being good or bad

Though in either case probably not real since the richest tend to get away with things their whole life

Not in the sense that there's a cosmic force trying to balance the good and evil of the world, but in the sense that awful people tend to orchestrate their own misery, yes.

Keep in mind that for all that Trump and Musk are wealthy and avoid comeuppance at every turn, they're both angry, bitter, miserable men. Musk badly wants to be popular and viewed as a cool renaissance man and he has to live with the fact that most of the world considers him a weirdo and an idiot.

Same. It takes so little effort to be genial and the benefit is constant.

No. A lot of what can be viewed as karma is just getting caught for breaking the law and facing consequences of it. Theres too many evil shitbags in the world that manage to get away with being evil shitbags that its impossible for me to think it actually exists.

If karma actually existed, we wouldnt have things like Henry Kissinger living to 100 years old and people like Jeffrey Epstein and Diddy getting away with what they did for as long as they did.

This.

Our world actually rewards bad behavior so long as you have power and money.
