extra booster pack is nice and you get extra mission including the chance to buy another pikachu promo this month.

though i wish they rolled over on the daily timer :(. the extra booster pack.

It basically comes down to whether you think an extra 30 packs a month is worth $10, I'm doing the free 2-week trial and the only real value is in the extra packs you get to open, I dont plan on continuing past the free trail. I already buy the SNAP season pass every month and I still have to see how they handle the game and events going forward to see if I'll even stick with this long term

You get an extra 34 or so packs a month which comes out to $.30 a pack. Straight up gold gotcha prices are well over $1 a pack. There's also a few other perks with premium as pointed out. Depends on how you value the game I suppose.

10 packs cost $10 worth of gold it's a much better deal to get the pass plus the missions which have the extra 12 timer pack things, 12 of the wonder pick timer things. Then the coin/mat/sleeve

Yeah Its undeniably a better deal than buying packs otherwise of course, its certainly the best bang for your buck if you wanted to spend money on the game, the question is whether you think an extra ~150 digital cards (the vast majority of which will be dupes mostly useless cards you already have) are worth any money at all

Im enjoying the game but the gameplay/battling is no where near as interesting/engaging to me as SNAP and the first few events have been highly underwhelming so I'm definitely not even considering going paid at this point. Have to see how things shake out, especially how they handle expansions/new sets

there's a battle event 1 right now. it gives you hourglass for participating and flair for winning.
plus various ribbon if win enough. crap thing is my deck sucks :(.

Lol all that complaining and I managed to get 2 zapdos ex. 1 from wonder and one from a pack.

Finally I can use that cheap pikachu ex deck

Here's my best cards so far, pretty happy with it. On another note, the Misty card is kind of infuriating. I feel like I've gotten tails on the first flip everytime.

Anyway, I just finished up ten PvP battles for the event and went 5/10 with a Moltres EX/Blaine-boosted Pokemon deck. Better than I thought I would do, honestly, especially since I got matched up with a lot of what I assume are meta decks like Starmie EX/Articuno EX, Mewtwo EX/Gardevoir, and Pikachu EX/Zapdos EX. I made a longer post on Board 8 about it, but it's really just more in-depth rambling.

As much as I want to run Dragon and Fire (my two favorite types in the main series), the Dragons need Water and Electric energy for their moves, and running two types in a deck is already unwieldy enough. Though it is so satisfying to finally get Dragonite's Draco Meteor off to nuke the oppositing side.

no. once you complete X amount of pvp battles and wins there isn't any additional rewards other than xp for wins.

I think it's just that and the flair dust/refills, the latter of which just require you to participate in ten event PvP battles to get them all. Winning only matters if you want more of the flair dust, which I personally don't see much of a use for.
