The US can talk about humanitarian values because we're only the worst until you consider like 50 other countries that clearly do heinous shit all the time, without the slightest pause or hesitation. While a lot remains screwed up here, we've also made clear progress within our lifetimes compared to where we were before. So, yeah, electing Kamala isn't going to be an instant panacea. It's also clearly the right thing to do when the alternative is Trump. Change is often generational. Just as she says it isn't enough to simply vote, it also isn't realistic expect things to change day by day. Greta risks coming across as glib when doing that, making it easy to people to dismiss her.
