I'm having oral health problems that has resulted in a flap of my inner cheek hanging off. It feels massive on my tongue but I looked in my mouth and it was legit probably no bigger than a sesame seed.

I believe the explanation behind why is that because there are more nerves and such on the tongue than a finger but I was wondering if there was a name for it.

I have something similar. My housemate who's a nurse said it was likely scar tissue from a healed ulcer. What is it in your situation?
