Are they registered to vote in their current state? Have they already voted there too? I don't see any issue if they are only registered and voting in their home state.

It's fine if she hasn't changed her residence of record. If she's not registered to vote in TN, I don't see the issue.

Im not going to pretend to know all the rules but when I was in the military many of us were registered in our home states and voted and paid state taxes based on those states even though we didnt live in them for years.

I knew people who hadnt been in their state in 20+ years yet voted and paid taxes and were still registered to those states. I would assume any civilian would be the same and it would come down to where they were registered.

It depends actually. It's not illegal to be registered to vote in more than one state as long as you only vote in one of them. Whether the specific state allows you to vote is up to the state laws which can get murky. What she did might not necessarily be illegal. This is a question for an attorney.

Voter fraud does happen, just not in high enough numbers to be significant, even if none of it was caught. But plenty of it is caught, making it even less significant.

yeah, the legality of this can be pretty complicated since every state is going to have different laws for voter registration, residency requirements, absentee voting, etc. I'd reocommend making a post on r/legaladvice or a similar forum

And nowhere near to the amounts Trump has claimed every election he has been in. As well as predominantly FOR Trump.

So the idea that CE says it doesn't happen is a lie.

Would require consideration of domicile factors. Just simply residing in a new state does not necessarily change the person's domicile.

TC literally admitted she's only investigating this matter because she suspects her acquiantance is voting Trump. Selectively alerting law enforcement is not good, even beyond the initial betrayal of trust.

It is different for military because there are laws specifically protecting your right to retain domicile in your HOR if you're moving due to PCS orders. And same for your family members
