I admit I am left puzzled by the election. I am also confused about why swing / "moderate" areas seem to really dislike Kamala. But really I am most confused about what Trump policies the average voter believes will benefit them, and in what ways. Do people think they will make more money with Trump? Unfortunately, we lived in different epistemic realities, and the liberal and Democratic Party branding is a nonstarter to a huge number of Americans. The Democrats have to rebrand. That doesn't mean "become conservative," but something has to change.
