With so many shows, movies, and books out there, Im curiouswhat do you guys actually consider a spoiler? Is it just big plot twists, or do small details count too? Some people get mad if you mention anything, while others think only major reveals qualify. Where do you draw the line?

Small details can be big spoilers, especially if they're specific. Knowing that something happens in a movie, even if it's small, can ruin tension. For example, if a character is in a bad situation, but you've heard a spoiler about something they do in the movie which hasn't happened yet, then you know they'll be fine.

For me, it counts as a spoiler if it's anything that hasn't already been shown in a trailer. Because then, the only people that would know that are the ones that have already watched/played it. Spoiler tag it and give some type of warning, just as a courtesy

In all seriousness, I tend to take extra precautions on the Dragon Quest wiki cause I can't be sure how well known details of it are as a whole.

And yet some trailers spoil the twist for III.

Mostly if it's relevant to plot or character development.

Like, posting that the Warden from DA: Origins becomes a Warden is obviously not a spoiler, but posting about all the later reveals regarding Wardens would be.

Not the best example but it's what I've got offhand.

I consider stating that there will be a plot twist to be a spoiler to an extent

"Wait until you get to episode x, omg it's so sad!"
