Of course there is. Families can be deported together.

The funny thing is, if I recall, Biden's border wasn't significantly more humane than Trump I, it's just nobody in his organization seemed to be giddy and gloat about it.

But it also means, if my assertion is true Biden's border wasn't more humane, the public got even more duped that it was swiss cheese lawlessness.

It's still crazy to me that people would vote to have their own families deported.

Biden's policy wasn't any more humane than the policies in place for the majority of Trump's presidency, but don't underestimate his lows. Separating children from families as a deterrent and then losing track of which kid came from which family so that the kids became wards of the state instead of deporting them with their families was a new low.

Then don't forget that he had an executive order that temporarily blocked Muslim green card holders from entering the country before the courts got involved and blocked that order. That was a time when we all believed a president could in theory be held responsible. He could order Muslim citizens to be deported. The courts say that's unconstitutional. He says I'm going to do it anyways. Courts order individual people on the ground to follow court orders and not Trump's orders. Trump asks, whose going to enforce that, the Supreme Court ruled politicizing the Justice Department is a core power of the presidency. Then it falls on Congress to Impeach and Remove him as the only constitutional way to stop him and we all know that ain't happening.

So the guy that was the "Border Czar" under Obama, when Obama earned the nickname "The Deporter in Chief" will be the Border Czar under Trump.

Immigration falls directly under explicit powers of the POTUS. All Trump has to do is claim he found evidence they were actually illegally here and nobody can challenge or question that.

It's weird that people think being a citizen is some huge safeguard. Who enforces that? Who is there to protect us if we're falsely accused of being a citizen? Who would be able to go against a King above reproach styled Donald Trump thanks to our SCOTUS, especially after he purges the federal government and replaces them with sycophants?

That's what I see happening. Trump will deport a few thousand illegal immigrants, make a huge show for it to say he did something, then forget about it.

Instead the threat of deportation will be used against undocumented workers so they accept even worse conditions than they already work in for big business.
