Cops might pare down those numbers in ways other than arrest, because that's what Miller will instruct them to do on the sly. Also, general police training in dealing with minorities.

Of course Trump isn't going to make any meaningful change to US immigration policy in terms of economics -- too many GOP-dominated industries absolutely rely on the labor of exploited immigrants.

What will happen, as it did in this assclown's first term, is grotesque and cruel fascist play-acting at doing something about the "issue" (as one would expect from a reality TV president). The upcoming cruelty will be the entire point of the exercise, since it will personally thrill Trump and Miller, gratify the casual sadism of Trump voters, and make it even easier for said industries to exploit their workers.

I really hope they don't deport my American friend who is naturalized and born in Romania. I know, he speaks fluent english, coming over here at age 5 and looks white, but Miller is a sociopath, so who knows. This is why I voted the way I did.

Even if they don't or can't do exactly what they're saying, they can still do something really bad.

It's like how Trump said he would ban people from all Muslim countries. He couldn't, but he did enact a Muslim ban that was pretty terrible.

And that was only because the courts stopped him. The courts, especially the USSC, is now actively enabling him. If a Muslim ban would somehow fall under explicit Presidential powers, there's really nothing anybody can do about it.
