President-elect Donald Trump confirmed on Truth Social early Monday morning that his incoming administration will declare a national emergency and use military resources to implement a mass deportation of illegal immigrants. The confirmation was made in response to an earlier post by Tom Fitton, journalist and president of Judicial Watch.

Trumps vow to deport illegal immigrants residing in the United States was an integral part of his campaign, which was widely popular among his supporters. As the Washington Examiner previously reported, the president-elect said he would deport more illegal immigrants from the United States than any of his predecessors.

My Opinion

Jezus Fucking Christ, we are living through a nightmare speed run.

So the first thing hes gonna do when hes president is declare a national emergency almost immediately?

Isn't that supposed to be saved for the end of the term, or I guess the emergency powers is what gives him the ability to start pushing more insane shit almost immediately without delay or the senate being able to stop him. Although with control of all three branches, how much opposition would there be anyways, or is he planning on pushing in such insane shit, that a senate doesnt even have legal powers to approve what he is planning.

You don't just Rail in Facism like this, Facists all over the world, know you have to slow walk your population towards facism. Yes eventually once Facism has become clear , you take down all the curtains, but I did not believe the USA was already at that point. I was confident Trump could have strung his base along for at least another year or two. Speed running towards facism and tyranny is going to have some nasty unforeseen repercussions for the Republican Party as well, but that will be the least of everyone elses problems.

And this is just one fucking terrible thing he is going to do... Just this one action , will have devastating consequences, imagine everything else he chooses to push through. I just dont get it anymore, it truly feels like the end times.

Emotional Venting

There are no words to describe the horrifying things that are going to happen in America. It is far more sad, that not a single person in my family actually thinks anything that bad will happen, they do not support Trump, nor do they live in USA, but they dont have a clue about about Project 2025, and they look at me like I am crazy whenever I bring it up.

I cant even talk to my democrat family because it will make me look like im the one chugging propaganda. So I can not really talk to them about how bad everything is about to become.

If you think hes gonna be just going after illegal immigrants , he will be going after everyone that opposes him or his party. That is the whole purpose of the denaturalization policy he will be pushing through at the same time as well. They will re-define who is a natural citizen and who is an illegal immigrant.

Genuine reminder Heritage Foundation wants anyone with even a lick of non american DNA in them to be deported.

Why not? I keep getting told the second amendment is there to make sure the government can't take away your other freedoms. I guess we're going to find out if that's true or if (as I always thought) it was always a bunch of hot air from insecure gun-huggers.

Depends on if people rise up before he manages to purge the military. The military has the right to refuse the Presidents orders, and the current makeup of the military would likely outright refuse to attack US citizens. And if Trump orders them to do so, they might even potentially turn on Trump and join the revolution.

Which is why Trump wants to purge the military, replacing all their generals and other high ranking officers with loyalists that will carry out what he wants. If a successful revolution were to happen, it would have to occur before the purge.

Though there's a pretty good chance that even legal immigrants will already be targeted in the first round anyway. He's going to have to come up with a lot of excuses for why grocery prices are going up instead of down. Unfortunately he's very good at the grift, and that's the scary part.

People want deportations, but outside of the Cult, who actually wants a state of emergency forced deportations? Yeah, it isn't like this possibility was hidden, but a lot of people voted for the kid version of Trumps policies after they get it filtered through the sanewashed media and the Trump fans going "no, he wont/no he didnt/he didnt mean it that way etc"

The main requirement to voting for Trump but not voting for this is having no critical thought processes upstairs, which many of us do not.

Mass deportation will instantly become one of the most hated things in American history if it's implemented. People have this belief people only here to work will be immune and there's large swaths of vicious criminals roving "Out There" who need to be deported.

In reality, people are gonna see their communities upended, watch their friends and families taken, people in their neighborhoods and everyone's gonna hear stories of folks who've been here for years without incident sent to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and so forth.

The thing is, I don't absolve them of their vote. It would have been nice if these people actually had a critical thought before Nov. 5th, or were more media literate to not get hoodwinked. I have no sympathy for anybody who voted for Trump and gets harmed by one of his policies the media sanewashed and people covered up.

That's just to explain why I think there could be a mass turn on Trump, where outside of the actual cult, nobody likes him. But I am also not holding my breath that will happen.

The economic devastation it'll cause is something the GOP will be forced to own. And they want to deport millions, making it something that'll go on for years. It'll be the largest humanitarian crisis in modern american history and whoever runs after trump doesn't have his fucking forcefield.

No, they won't reward GOP with more votes when grocery prices soar. Immigrants are heavily involved with farming and such, and prices would skyrocket if that labor was lost.

What we know more than anything else is that people vote for the opposite party if unhappy with the economy. If they go through with this, the economy will get much worse.

We will see, but I dont think the logistics is on his side.
